Programs
Morning Book Club
Join our adult book club held the second Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the Senior Center (downstairs in the library). All books are available through the Ellsworth Public Library. There is no cost to attend. We read a variety of genres and have informal discussion. Call the library at 273-3209 for more information and a list of books for the season.
Teen Read Book Club
Teens love to read? Looking for a fun, no-pressure place to discuss the books you've read? Look no further. We provide the books and the snacks -- all you need is your library card! You help choose the titles we read each month. We meet the second Thursday of the month. 6th through 12th grade.
Outreach
The library sponsors a year-round outreach program, taking books, audio tapes, videos and special requests to the Ellsworth Care Center and two apartment complexes for the elderly in Ellsworth.
Art Shows
Our library is proud to display artwork from the Ellsworth School District several times during the year. The High School Art Department has a show each November and the K-12 Art Department has an exhibit every March in celebration of Youth Art Month. Each show is a month in length and displays 2-D and 3-D student artwork. Stop in to see what wonderful artists we have in the Ellsworth area.
