Park Backpacks include free park passes to all Pierce & St. Croix County Parks. Also included: binoculars, compass, butterfly net, flashlight, magnifying glass and box, learning packets for all ages, and bird, flower, animal, and tree identification guides. These backpacks are available at all libraries in Pierce and St. Croix Counties and can be checked out for 3 weeks at Ellsworth Public Library. Get out and enjoy the natural beauty of our county parks!
The backpacks were paid for in large part by a generous grant from Allina Health and further funding from Hudson and Westfields Hospitals. Park Passes were donated/discounted by Pierce and St. Croix County Parks, and final funding provided by the Hudson Hospital Foundation and the YMCA of Hudson.
